Host your next special event at House at Gatewood:
Rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, retirement celebrations, holiday parties, and more!

Our family-owned and operated space is conveniently located minutes from downtown Hillsborough, NC. We offer a versatile floor plan of spaces for up to 100 of your friends and family to enjoy. In addition to our inside spaces, we have scenic grounds with a pond, an outdoor fire pit, patio spaces and yard games (weather permitted).


We provide:

  • Exclusive use of the venue and 16-acre property for your rental time of 3 to 6 hours, including all dining tables and chairs for up to 100 people seated inside

  • Outside patio with rustic seating for 70+ people

  • All staff, including servers and bartenders

  • In-house chef for menu development and event food production

  • Bar consultation with our in-house sommelier

  • A/V equipment – 3 TVs in the bar area, screen, and mobile projector, microphone, and speakers

  • WiFi and controllable music system in all rooms

2024 Party & Event Pricing

House at Gatewood venue rental is $1000 per hour.  There is a 3-hour minimum.  

To reserve The House at Gatewood for your event, a signed contract and a $1,000 non-refundable deposit are required. The remaining balance is due the day of your event.

Customize your menu with Chef Ron

Prices are determined by guest count, menu, and availability of ingredients.

Chef Ron will work with you to create a seasonal, handcrafted menu for every type of event ranging from multiple appetizers to full dinners.

Full dinner example: includes 3 appetizers, salad, 2 proteins/entrees, 2 sides, and a dessert. Email or call for more information about pricing and a sample menu. Pricing includes non-alcoholic drinks.


Bar consultation with our in-house sommelier, Tyler, the “Wine Guy” is included.

Our wine selection includes Red, White, Rosé, and Sparkling wines from around the globe that complement our food menu.

Additional important information

  • All rental time includes set up/decorating and clean up. A fee is charged for time outside your scheduled rental. See your contract for details.

  • Outside food and drink are not permitted. A $20 corkage fee and $4/person cakeage fee is charged for pre-planned outside wine and dessert that have manufacturer labels. We have a pastry chef on staff to help with cakes and baked goods for your event.

  • 8.5% sales tax and an automatic 20% gratuity will be charged on food and drink.
